Shape the clay into a vessel;

It is the space within that makes it useful.

~Tao te Ching, Chapter 11

Welcome to my shop of small batch, one-of-a-kind pottery. Pieces are handmade, and thus, have assymmetries, knicks, and quirks. These Asian-cuisine-inspired vessels intended for food also shape what and how we eat, inviting you to round out your entrees with rice, soup, sauces, and pickles.

I make ceramics in a shared studio with a shared kiln. From start to finish, one piece takes about six to eight weeks - accounting for drying, trimming, glazing, and twice firing. Shipping takes one to two weeks as I do not make pottery full-time. It has been a wonderful learning process to work on the clay’s timetable rather than my own. I am happy to take on custom orders with this timeframe in mind. Thank you.
